AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists no talks have taken place regarding a deal for Clarence Seedorf to become the club's coach next season.
Reports in Italy have claimed that Seedorf has signed a pre-contract agreement to replace Massimiliano Allegri at the end of the campaign.
However, Galliani has dismissed the speculation and is adamant Milan have not made any plans beyond the current season.
"There is nothing, there are no talks," Galliani told Lancenet regarding the rumours that Seedorf will become coach next summer.
"Allegri is in charge and we are thinking only about the current season."
Seedorf spent a decade at the San Siro as a player and is currently plying his trade in Brazil at Botafogo.
The rumours that he will become Milan coach at the end of the season have been circulating for several weeks and the 37-year-old stated last month that there had been no talks.
Allegri's position as Milan coach has come under scrutiny following a lacklustre start to the season in Serie A.
Though Milan have qualified for the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League, the Rossoneri are 10th in Serie A and trail leaders Juventus by 24 points.
Another name mooted as a possible replacement for Allegri has been Andre Villas-Boas, who was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur earlier this week.
