World Cup: Hamburg striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga targets place in Germany squad

On-loan Hamburg striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga is hoping to force his way into the Germany squad for next summer's World Cup.
Lasogga has scored nine goals in 12 Bundesliga appearances for Hamburg this season following his loan move from Hertha Berlin.
The 22-year-old is a former Germany Under 21 international and is determined to make the step up to senior level.
His ambition is to play at the World Cup in Brazil and he is determined to impress Germany coach Joachim Low over the coming months.
"Playing at the 2014 FIFA World Cup is definitely a big ambition of mine," Lasogga told Berliner Zeitung newspaper. "Sometimes life turns fast in football. You never know.
"If the head coach would want me to be among the final squad for the tournament, I would definitely not turn it down.
"Everyone dreams of playing for his country at senior international level. To play senior international football is a big honour for every player.
